Neighbour Appraisals
Our pre-construction Neighbour Appraisals provide advance warning of hurdles and liabilities you are likely to face during your development, enabling you to mitigate your risks. In particular, an initial appraisal would provide the following information:-
- A summary of adjoining owners and properties.
- Advise on which notices must be served and on whom under the Party Wall Act, including for excavation work.
- Advise on where the proposed works may require access to adjoining land or premises,
- Identify any boundary-related issues which might lead to ambiguity, delay and disputes to your project,
- Identify (where practicably possible from visual inspection) any particular practical neighbourly issues such as drainage access, rainwater dispersal, access rights, trees or rights to light.
